Board of Directors

Justin Fields, President of the Board of Directors.  Dr. Fields is a school counselor at Central Crossing High School in Grove City.  He has worked at CCHS since 2007.  Dr. Fields received his Master’s Degree in School Counseling from The Ohio State University in 2004 and he completed his Ph.D. in Counselor Education at Ohio State in 2007.

William Sherry, Secretary of the Board of Directors.  Mr. Sherry, incorporator of the Ann Sherry Foundation, is retired, but performs volunteer work for community service groups.  Mr. Sherry has a Master of Public Administration degree from Ohio State University.

Bradley Shimp, Treasurer of the Board of Directors.  Mr. Shimp is the Executive Director of the Community Capital Development Corporation, a private, nonprofit corporation established in 1981, which makes loans to small businesses in Central Ohio.  Mr. Shimp has a Master’s Degree in Education from Cleveland State University.

Jill Lausch, Board Member.  Ms. Lausch is the principal at Gables Elementary in Columbus Public Schools.  In 2000 - 2001, she received the Superintendent’s Equity Award, in 2002, the Edward W. Ingram Foundation Principal Award and the Superintendent’s Achievement Award in 2004.  She has a Master’s Degree in Education Administration from Ashland University.

James Reinker, Board Member.  Mr. Reinker is retired from teaching at Franklin Alternate School in Columbus, Ohio.  He is involved with the Columbus Public School System in the development of educational curriculum, and he is a PRAXIS III assessor with the Ohio Department of Education for new teacher licensure.

Doreen Uhas Sauer, Board Member.  Ms. Uhas Sauer is currently the Project Director for the Annenberg Columbus Civic Education Model with Columbus Public Schools.  She taught in Columbus Public Schools for 38 years and is also active in a number of civic-minded organizations in the University area and historical associations.

Seleshi Asfaw, Board Member.  Dr. Asfaw is the Executive Director of the Ethiopian Tewahdo Social Services, a nonprofit organization that provides educational and job readiness programming to the Ethiopian and East African refugee community.
